I thought this was funny

I went out to lunch last week with one of the Korean teachers, she in her 40's married with 2 kids and the nicest Korean teacher I work with by far. We were talking about how I liked it so far in Korea and how everyone is so nice here, then we started talking about her son and how he likes Harry Potter books and she's like "you know what, you kinda look like Harry potter." I'm like "really I never noticed," and she says "well all Americans look the same Anyway." I laughed for about 10 minutes and told her we think the same about Asians.

I don't know if this is funny but I sure thought it was.

Stocked up

"So what important stuff did you do in Korea?"

Got Soju?

We took a trip to Yongson last Saturday where they have a huge electronic market to buy a camera for Mike. We ended up getting lost and wondered down a shady looking alley, how bad could it really be right? Wrong it was nasty, this guy was totally passed out in the middle of the street in 95 degree heat with a bottle of booze next to him. We had to pass guys throwing up in the street and hookers yelling at us. This was all at 2 in the afternoon I wonder what it's like at nighttime?

Fine dining

Add this to the places I refuse to eat at!

Been busy lately

As you can tell i've been working on some important stuff lately, and yes I have cable on both tv's

Looking to get into some trouble

Walking around the city on a weeknight, I think we walked for 5 minutes then ended up in a bar.

Hard at work

This is a sample speech we wrote that went to the main campus and is then going to be handed out to over a 1000 students. This is my best work to date it took me two months to come up with it and it's pure gold. As you can see we took it very serious and we just want the children to get the best education possible.

P.S. yes we actually turned this in.

Mother, Mother, can you hear me? Why isn't this call going through?

Went out last night

Got off work last night and we were thinking of what to do. We thought maybe go to a bar but then we were like no I don't feel like a bar so what else can we think of? After about an hour of debating we ended up in a bar, but not just any bar it was a kind of western bar that had American liquor (yeah we splurged a little jack n cokes at $6 each) . we had like 4 each and then thought maybe we should get dinner but I wasn't really hungry and I asked Mike "are you hungry?" He's like not really but we should get something, so we ended up getting the biggest appetizer plate that was supposed to serve 4 to 6, and then we finished it. We were about to leave when a Korean business man came up to us and asked in broken English if he could sit and talk to us, we're like ok sure. He sits down and starts talking about how good looking we are and how we look like movie stars, this goes on for about 20 minutes and I was like "I'm tired, I'm gonna go home Bahn (that was his name Bahn, we were calling him James Bond for the rest of the night which I thought was hilarious, Bahn didn't think so) " and he's like "stay I'll buy you a drink" So we ended up staying for 3 more drinks, finally got up to leave and this guy insisted on paying for everything, the food the drinks everything. Ended up being a really nice guy and just wanted to talk to us for a while. Bahn if your reading this we'll be there tomorrow night too if you want to "talk" to us again but we'll be in the mood for lobster and champagne this time!
